The pot rule is better than separate meals

The rule of the pot is formulated as follows:

«IF YOU CANNOT EAT A MIXTURE OF FOODS,

THEN THEY CANNOT BE EATEN SEPARATELY.

AT ONE MEAL AT ONCE!»

A mixture of foods can be eaten, but not all of them. When a cook prepares a meal of different foods in a pot, he is constantly doing a mental experiment on the edibility of the food. What the cook prepares must be edible. A good cook is always doing a mental experiment in his head to mix foods and test the resulting mixture for flavor.

HEF'S STRATEGY

1. What I'm about to put in the pot now, will it go with what's already in there?

2. Mentally visualize and taste and smell.

3. If the answer is yes, how much should I put in and when to make something tasty?

4. If his brain believes after inspection that the component in question will degrade the flavor, it is rejected.

This behavior of the cook is consistent with the pot rule. Before you dine out, you determine the foods you are going to eat in one sitting. Then you do a mental experiment, mix the foods, and ask yourself the important question, “Is the resulting mixture edible?”. And if the answer is yes, then, as they say, with God, eat for health the selected products in any sequence.

When eating separately, we choose the most compatible products from the point of view of the theory itself, we approach rationally. And when using the pot rule, we fully rely on our senses, on intuition, i.e. we check the future set of foods for edibility by a sensual experiment.

THE “POT RULE” STRATEGY

Check to see if you have a sense of real hunger. If you don't, then don't do anything about it.

Step 1. Think about the foods you can eat. This step can be guided by your knowledge of the healthfulness and calorie content of foods.

Step 2. Choose the main food item that you are going to eat.

Step 3. Choose the next food item you would most like to eat.

Step 4. Do a mental experiment: mix the new selected food and the previous ones by blending them in a blender. Is the mixture edible? Is it edible?

Step 5. If  “yes,” then memorize the product. If “no,” the product is not good for you. Cross it off the list.

Step 6. If there are more foods on the list, go back to step 3.

Step 7. Now you can eat the selected foods in any order as long as you feel hungry.
